It also contains a special chemical called amylase that breaks down carbohydrates into smaller sugars like glucose and maltose for easier digestion.

Your lungs are the largest organ in the body, and they’re responsible for providing you with oxygen and removing carbon dioxide from the body. The lungs can hold up to 4.7 liters of air, that’s about one-fifth of a gallon.

Your lungs are also very flexible and elastic, meaning that they can expand or contract to fit any size lung capacity. This is important because it allows you to breathe deeply when you do physical activity or sports, but it also means that you can take shallow breaths when doing something like meditating.

5. Our Muscles are Stronger Than Steel

The muscles in our bodies are incredibly strong and can produce forces that are greater than steel. For example, the human jaw can bite down with a force of up to 200 pounds per square inch, which is much stronger than steel.
